Questions we hear before the first call.

BEFORE YOU REACH OUT

How is Fusion Tactics different from traditional staff augmentation?

Traditional staff augmentation adds capacity by placing individuals within your organization, leaving cross-functional coordination and decision-making to existing teams. Fusion Tactics provides embedded project leadership that integrates with your existing governance, processes, and tools while taking ownership of connecting engineering, environmental, land, construction, project controls, and executive stakeholders—reducing the coordination gaps where complex projects most often struggle.

Do you replace our engineering, environmental, or construction teams?

No. Fusion Tactics does not provide engineering, environmental, or construction services. We provide the project and program leadership that aligns those disciplines around shared priorities, coordinated execution, informed decision-making, and effective governance throughout the project lifecycle.

Why not simply hire another project manager?

Additional project managers increase capacity within a function. Fusion Tactics increases alignment across functions. Our focus is on integrating people, information, and decisions across the entire program so leadership has a complete picture, risks are identified earlier, and critical issues do not fall between organizational boundaries.

What size and type of programs do you typically support?

Our primary experience is supporting complex electric utility transmission, substation, and interconnection projects ranging from tens to hundreds of millions of dollars. The governance, coordination, and delivery principles behind that experience also translate effectively to other infrastructure, information technology, government, and EPC projects.

How do engagements typically begin?

Every engagement starts with a discovery conversation to understand your objectives, organizational structure, governance model, and current challenges. From there, we develop a clearly defined scope tailored to your program, your team, and your delivery approach— never a one-size-fits-all engagement.

Do you work within our existing PMO and governance framework?

Yes. We integrate into your existing governance framework, project controls, and delivery processes while contributing proven industry practices and an objective perspective. Our goal is to strengthen decision-making, improve coordination, and enhance program performance—not replace your PMO or introduce unnecessary methodologies.
